Does TV Color Our Dreams?

General Health

A new research study, from Dundee University, has found that almost all people, under the age of 25, dream in color all the time. They also found that most people over 55 (who grew up watching black and white tv) dream in black in white a significant percentage of the time (even today).

Eva Murzyn, a psychology student at Dundee University who carried out the study, said: “It is a fascinating hypothesis.

“It suggests there could be a critical period in our childhood when watching films has a big impact on the way dreams are formed.

“What is even more interesting is that before the advent of black and white television all the evidence suggests we were dreaming in colour.”

This is an interesting look into the science of dreams and I was blown away by the study.  [via Telegraph]

So….Do you dream in “black in white” or “color”?
